Welcome to the Worldbuilders of Queen Street – a townhouse studio gallery in Bath celebrating new worlds and the creators behind them.

Built circa 1760, this five-story Georgian townhouse opens its doors on the weekends to those who wish to explore, read, or study among the many worlds celebrated within.

Our five-story Georgian townhouse opens its doors on the weekends to those who wish to explore, read, or study among the many worlds celebrated within.

Our gallery spans five distinct floors, each thoughtfully designed with its own atmosphere, aesthetic, and purpose.

Our resident artist, Oliver Hurst, resides on the 3rd floor.

Our building offers dedicated spaces where writers and worldbuilders can develop their projects.

Alderlore: The Understudy
October 18th till December 18th

From October to December, Alderlore will present The Understudy; a richly curated fantasy exhibition on the lower ground floor of Queen Street.

The Understudy invites visitors to explore artefacts, maps, and stories drawn from the fantasy realm of Alderlore - an immersive glimpse into the lore, landscapes, and hidden histories that shape Alderlore’s universe.

Explore Worlds

The Gallery represents 2 debut worlds across the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres.

We currently represent two worldbuilders, each with a unique vision.

Each year, we plan to expand our roster and offer smaller exhibiting spaces within the building., welcoming new talent whose work pushes the boundaries of imagination and storytelling.
